A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of working with some very talented wedding suppliers on a bridal shoot at Lysses House Hotel in Fareham.
I have known Vikki for about a year and a half now and we have collaborated on bridal shoots twice before with great results. Vikki is the amazing talent behind all the handmade tiaras and beautiful, vibrant bouquets. She had been messaging me for a while asking when we were going to do our next shoot so when I told her I was available Easter Monday at quite short noticed she jumped at the chance and kindly organised the venue, make up artist and models, leaving no effort on my part which was great as I was really busy that week!… So big thanks Vikki that this shoot took place!
We were set on doing most of the shots outside, using the natural light so when we looked out the window whilst the models were being prepared we realised they had some beautiful unused gardens that had become a little overgrown out the back but had some beautiful green tones and bluebells. This was a perfect setting for our bridal photos to show off Vikki’s stunning creations.
Jules, the make up artist and hair stylist brought along her new bridal heart shaped umbrellas as props for the photos, which added a nice splash of colour to some of the shots.
Both of the models were fab and very patient and easy going considering we were amongst stinging nettles and putting them in some uncomfortable poses for long periods of time. I worked with Channon, the blonde model last year on her first ever shoot where she had modelled and she was absolutely fab and so easy and fun to work with so was thrilled when I found out Vikki had sourced her as a model for this shoot. I thoroughly enjoyed this bridal shoot, everyone was really lovely and a pleasure to work with.
