Big News…
So as you all know, I have just got back from travelling around the amazing West Coast of America and I have some big news for you all…
I’M ENGAGED!
My boyfriend, or should I say ‘fiancé’ proposed in Yosemite which was our second stop around California. I was completely blown away by the amazing views and super tired from walking up a mountain for 5 hours and then he got down on one knee at the top of Nevada Falls! I was not expecting it at all and was completely overwhelmed by him asking me to marry him in the environment I was in, I ended up not answering for ages as I was so shocked and then ended up in floods of tears, happy ones of course. I never in a million years thought that he would propose on our holiday but he couldn’t have picked a better place to do it! I’m a very happy lady that I have a gorgeous new ring on my finger after 7 and a half years and can’t wait to start planning our wedding in the Caribbean…we’ve kind of already started! 😛
Can’t believe I’m engaged, it’s still hasn’t sunk in. I get to design my very own special now as well as shooting other people’s weddings 🙂

Below are some images just after the special moment happened. They were taken on my iPhone so aren’t as amazing quality as my camera but Jak doesn’t know how to operate that haha! The ring shots at the bottom were taken on my Canon 5D Mark III with my 100mm F2.8 L Macro lens to show off the diamond. I’m so impressed that he picked the ring and diamond separately and had them put together, it truly is stunning and fits perfectly.
