Last April I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Oliver and Abigail’s elegant and intimate wedding at Winchester Registry Office. They were guests at a wedding I photographed at Sopley Mill back in 2021 and were also guests at a wedding I photographed at Audleys Wood in March last year. They loved the photos that I produced for their friend’s weddings and how relaxed I am as a photographer, easily integrating into the day and having a laugh with the guests, so they wanted to book me for their intimate wedding at Winchester Registry Office for a short 1 hour and 45mins coverage, before their big celebration with all of their friends and family in France.
Oliver & Abigail’s love story begins in the heart of Winchester, amidst the cobblestone streets and historic charm. The quaint and picturesque 19th-century building of Winchester Registry Office served as the perfect backdrop for their intimate ceremony, which radiated warmth, love and laughter.
Following the ceremony, Oliver and Abigail were greeted with a toss of confetti from their loved ones, then we took some family and group photos outside the registry office as well as some beautiful couple portraits in and around Winchester Registry Office. After that, everyone walked down the iconic Winchester High Street together to continue their celebration at The Ivy restaurant where they were welcomed with lovely ice-cold cocktails. Against the backdrop of twinkling lights and elegant decor, they all enjoyed delicious food and raised their glasses in a toast to love, happiness, and the newlyweds.
