New forest engagement Shoot

 Yesterday morning I met with the lovely Cat & Olly at The Deer Sanctuary, Bolderwood for their New forest engagement Shoot. I originally met this lovely couple back in January and the time has just flown by since with it being such a busy year packed full of weddings, so it  was great to see them again.

Cat and Olly are getting married at The Clock Barn in Whitchurch, Hampshire in March next year and I haven’t yet had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at this venue so we also squeezed in a venue visit in the afternoon. The Clock barn is definitely a beautiful wedding venue – I have a huge love for rustic and vintage as well as bunting and The Clock Barn embraces all of this as well as being set amongst beautiful fields, perfect for the wedding photos.

So all in all, yesterday was a pretty busy day and when I came home, I edited some images from the engagement shoot which you can view below. Cat & Olly informed me before we began that they are not photo lovers or selfie takers and were a bit nervous/didn’t know what to expect with the shoot so hopefully they felt comfortable with me taking their photos after a while, it certainly came across that way as I was able to get some lovely natural shots. I’d loved the tall trees and huge tree trunks that had fallen down in a storm and the fact the they chose to have their engagement shoot in the New Forest was even more special for the couple as that’s where they actually got engaged.

Great to see you guys again, Cat & Olly and I’m really looking forward to photographing your wedding in 7 months! 🙂 I hope you like your photos
