Last month I had the pleasure of meeting Naz & Hamza, a lovely couple from Afghanistan who wanted to have an Elegant Wedding shoot at Hengistbury Head as they’re unable to get married here in the UK, but still wanted some beautiful and natural photos in a wedding style shoot.
Not being from the area, they initially didn’t know what location they would like to have for their photos, but after some discussions to discover what kind of look they wanted, and with some deliberation, we settled on Hengistbury Head as it’s a beautiful location and having done an engagement shoot and a maternity photo session there previously, they trusted my judgment on this.
It proved to be a great decision as Naz & Hamza loved the beach setting with all of the different options for backdrops that Hengistbury Head has to offer and they also really pleased with the end result and love their photos. There is so much variety, with sand, sea, rocks, long grass, pathways, yellow cliffs and even coloured beach huts if you walk further down into Mudeford, Hengistbury Head has become my favourite location for photo shoots and I just had to share this gorgeous photo session in a blog post.
