I recently had the pleasure of photographing Richard & Rachael’s beautiful garden wedding in The New Forest. Due to covid restrictions we’d only met previously via zoom, rather than in person and the couple booked me only a few months before their wedding date.
They tied the knot in their local church, which was so local that some guests even walked there. After the ceremony and group / family photos we headed to Rhinefield, just a few miles down the road for some lovely couple photos in Ornamental Drive. There was some light drizzle half way through the photos but it didn’t stop us from capturing some beautiful shots still and we had the assistance of Rachael’s super helpful maid of honour, who came along with us to hold the dress up to keep it as clean as possible and lay it out nice and neat for us.
The reception took place in the Bride’s parents beautiful back garden in in The New Forest and there was a marquee with stunning rustic styling inside, with gin bottles for the table names and so many cakes! They even had official caterers providing delicious food for everyone to indulge in.
Congratulations again Richard and Rachael, it was such a pleasure capturing your special day, a beautiful and intimate celebration with those closest to you both. Thank you for having me there to freeze all of these moments for you and I hope you love your photos!
