Lainston House Wedding in Winchester in the spring of 2016
5 years ago I had the absolute pleasure of capturing the lovely Emma & Gareth’s beautiful spring wedding at Lainston house on 7th May 2016. I can’t actually believe how quickly those 5 years have gone actually, so much has happened since then, HELLO COVID!
The reason I’m writing about Emma & Gareth’s wedding 5 years on is because I’ve been having a sort out through my old hard drives today and found a load of untouched video clips that I shot at their wedding, so I thought I’d put together a short highlights film from the footage and below is the finished result.
There are so many things that I can remember from Emma & Gareth’s wedding even now, 5 years on. It was such a fun day and Gareth was such a character, he made me laugh multiple times by pulling out some crazy moves during the photos and lots of pouting, which he had to reign in so that we could actually get some ‘normal’ photos haha. Also, he pulled his trousers down (don’t worry boxer shorts remained) to reveal a half finished tattoo to everyone during the speeches as his best man talked about it, so he of course had to get it out. Emma & Gareth were such a fun couple to photograph and it was a real pleasure capturing their special day at Lainston House.
It was a beautiful spring day and all of the blossom and bluebells were out so I made full use of that for the photos.
