Summer Engagement Shoot at Hengistbury Head with Stew and Sarah
Right now with all this cold weather, I don’t know about you but I am really craving summer and can’t wait for it to come back around! Not only is it beautiful time of year but also, it’s when I am at my busiest, right in the middle of shooting a busy wedding season. I love the long nights, the golden sunlight and the warmer weather and whilst feeling nostalgic for last summer, I remembered this Engagement shoot I did with the lovely Stew and Sarah at Hengistbury Head in Dorset. It was a beautiful summer’s day and was actually the first time I met the couple before I photographed their wedding, which was really nice as it meant that we got to know each other so I could bring out their true character through my images. We actually ended up going on a nice walk from one end of Hengistbury Head to the other, which was really pleasant and allowed us to use all of the different scenery along the way. We probably walked a good mile whilst chatting and taken photos and it was a good job, the light stuck around for us and gave us a beautiful sunset to end the shoot.
I’m really looking forward to this summer and getting stuck in with all the engagement shoots and weddings I have spread out across the year, starting next month. It’s my busiest year yet with over 35 weddings! I’m so pleased with how my business has grown over the last few years with all the referrals from my lovely couples, I couldn’t have done it without you, so thank you!
The location that Stew and Sarah picked for their engagement shoot was just perfect and if you haven’t been to Hengistbury Head before it’s well worth the visit!
