Ross & Charlotte’s beautiful Sopley Mill Wedding
The lovely Ross & Charlotte had a stunning Sopley Mill wedding in the summer and had the most beautiful rustic country garden theme for their special day. They are genuinely one of the nicest and funniest couple’s I have ever met and we had such a laugh together on their wedding day. Our similar sense of humour led to us having a lot of fun and laughing our heads off during the couple portraits, which made for some really lovely, natural shots and some more fun & silly photos too. Just one example of this is Ross deciding to jump on Charlotte’s back for an impromptu piggy back and falling off, which you’ll see in the photos below. We were cracking up at this moment!
There was also a line that the best man said to end his speech, which I won’t repeat, but had all of the guests in fits of laughter, including myself! Following on from that there was a dance off in the evening where some serious shapes were being thrown and some other interesting moves, again, evidence of this is in the photos below. To top it all off though, just as I was leaving, the bride’s cousin decided to take off all of his clothes, jump over the fence and go for a swim in the river! First of all the water must have been freezing cold and secondly there was current that he was having to swim against, so this was not the best idea when intoxicated with a lot of alcohol. Of course the Sopley Mill team soon pulled him out of the river, but it was hilarious whilst it lasted. I missed out on the further antics of the night, which was probably for the best as Ross told me the next day that they were naked dancing after many more drinks and other crazy things happened too.
This was such a fun filled wedding, full of love, laughter and happiness and I am genuinely privileged to have been part of it. It was such a pleasure capturing their special day at Sopley Mill, which is a really beautiful venue with a great team of lovely staff. Definitely a favourite venue of mine and I am lucky to be on the Sopley Mill recommended supplier list 🙂
