Ian & Sophie’s wedding sneak peek – Wedding at Bucklers Hard
Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing the lovely Ian & Sophie’s Wedding at Bucklers Hard. Their ceremony and reception was held at the beautiful Master Builders House Hotel at Bucklers Hard, which is a quaint little maritime village situated on the banks of the Beaulieu River in the county of Hampshire. They were super lucky with glorious weather for early spring, the sun was shining all day with not a rain drop in sight, although it was a little windy as the venue is right by the harbour.
Sophie was recommended to me by her lovely sister, Rachel, who I worked with at Paultons Park, when we were ride operators there, many years ago! It’s great that we’ve kept in touch and Rach has followed my work on Facebook over the last few years, and so when Sophie & Ian got engaged, she told them about me straight away! We met up last year in the summer to discuss their wedding plans, and I remember us sitting in my garden as it was a gorgeous, warm and sunny day so we decided to chat and look through my albums etc outside to make the most of the weather which we don’t really get enough of over in England…(I’m such a summer kind of girl!)
Their wedding day came round super quickly and I had a really great time photographing it for them yesterday! It’s always an honour being let into peoples lives and capturing such a special day, with so many intimate moments and emotions shared, I genuinely love my job and feel so blessed that I get to photograph awesome people for a living.
